Drinking the Tigris: Mos Def in Malawi

MosDef.jpg

At least a couple hours per night I get super uptight. Seven-day workweek isn't too hard, but if I do it long enough I might start throwing chairs. I noticed that I'm starting to lean on little things to get me through. Caffeine and comfort foods. It's like the movie Ground Hog day. Everyday is the same.

Dusty tonight, can taste it if I try. 4 am right now, looking forward to breakfast then bed.

In my free time, started taking notes on all the footage. Noticed this guy from a wedding scene in the village. Looks just like Mos Def. Malawian Mos Def. Uncanny.

Happy Labor Day! Put one back for me, would do me right. I feel like a tired foot in a tight sock in a hot shoe.

Hey bro, just catching up with your latest scripting on the journey. Talked to Philip we both believe the US is pretty fucked up, and he wants to move to Alaska, pretty funny but true. I know you called a few times, sorry I missed you. Jenny, Chase and Krischan are all good. Sounds like the isolation is going to do wonders for your creative works. Luv you big brother....
